Coffee Plantation
In a lush mountain area only twenty miles from Retalhuleu, a small village is home to hard-working members of a co-op that produces coffee, macadamia nuts and bananas. Journeys of Hope supports the co-op efforts and members of the village through short-term business loans, medical and dental assistance and through gifts of food, clothing and school supplies. Journeys of Hope missionaries and leaders are working closely with the co-op group in hopes of eventually marketing coffee and macadamia nuts through the Journeys of Hope Market.
