Jungle School
Journeys of Hope has been supporting a public school located in a small jungle community ten miles outside of Retalhuleu. Missionaries have built over a hundred school desks and a library for the school. In addition, missionries annually deliver school supplies, food and library books and provide medical and dental attention to school children and their families. A visit to the "jungle school" is always a highlight of the Journeys of Hope mission trips.
