Lutheran Campus Ministry
at Northern Illinois University
The Northern Illinois University (NIU) Lutheran Campus Ministry (LCM) has partnered with Journeys of Hope since the inception of the not-for-profit in 2007.
During the NIU 2007 spring break, missionaries from LCM and students from the Lutheran Student Center at the University of Northern Iowa, worked together and broke ground for The School of the Saints in Retalhuleu, Guatemala.
Since then, the LCM spring break mission trips to Guatemala, have become an important and exciting part of Lutheran campus ministry at NIU.
