Our Mission Work
One of the signatures of the mission work accomplished in Reu, is the annual medical clinic. Dr. Anita Peters of Lake Mills, IA, has led nearly one hundred missionaries in providing medical education and care over the past five years. The next medical mission trip is scheduled for January 7-17, 2011. A second medical trip is being planned for June 2011.
Medical personnel and translators are welcome to join the medical mission teams.
In addition to the medical mission trips, Journeys of Hope specializes in short-term mission trips for those interested in "hard labor." Any and all skill sets are necessary as missionaries continue building The School of the Saints, prepare classrooms, build and paint classroom furniture and assist with other educational projects in communities around Retalhuleu.
If interested in participating in a short-term mission trip that would use YOUR skills, please contact Diane Dardon at dianedardon@gmail.com.
